A Story of SAVIOR OF SWALLOWS
Creative Connections - A Season of Swallows
The land is alive again.
Summer has come — long days, warm winds, open skies.
The earth still holds the memory of rain, and everywhere there is movement, growth, life.
And once again, the swallows are here.
They arrive quietly, faithfully — neither rushed, nor late.
Led by something deeper than sight. They know when the time is right. They circle above us, rest briefly, then begin to build — with what they carry in their mouths.
Such small birds, yet entrusted with something sacred: to create a place of safety, to prepare a home for new life.
In watching them, I am reminded: This is how God works with His children. When we stay close to Him — our source of living wateour hearts remain soft, ready ground. And like the swallows, we are invited to build not with bricks or mud, but with what we carry in our mouths.
Words. Words that bring life. Words that heal. Words that speak hope, truth, and love. Especially in this season. Christmas reminds us that God chose to come close. To dwell among us. To make His home with us.
Just as the swallows return again and again, we return to Him — drawn by love, held by His care. They travel far, cross borders, move between seasons — yet they always know where to land.
And so do we. As these prints find their way into new homes this Christmas, may they carry the same reminder:
You are seen. You are held. You are guided by His timing. And right where you are planted, you are called to build.
Psalm 84:3 “Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young — a place near Your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God.”
Matthew 10:29 “Not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.”
May His words fill your mouth, May His presence guide your steps, And may His Spirit lead you as you build — this Christmas, and always.
