The story behind the artwork
Carry Him into the world.
This artwork was originally inspired by Ephesians 2:10. The wording printed beneath the ant in this release is “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” — Psalm 34:8, as shown in the product photograph.
When I first looked at an ant, I immediately thought of the verse, “Go to the ant…” I somehow felt guilty for not working harder. But the longer I sat with it, the more I realised the lesson wasn’t simply about working hard. It was about consistency in Christ.
When we intentionally choose Christ, day after day, we begin to live differently. Our habits change. Our hearts change. Our lives begin to reflect the One we are following.
The little golden crumb reminded me of Jesus’ words, “Give us this day our daily bread.” It speaks of daily obedience rather than extraordinary achievements. It represents what He has entrusted to our hands.
What is inside… is what we carry. We carry Christ in heart and hand. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.
There are seasons in the body of Christ where someone simply needs to be nourished, to taste and see that the Lord is good. Then there are seasons where we become the bearer: carrying Christ, carrying hope, carrying encouragement, carrying the daily bread God has entrusted to us.
Both are needed. That is the beauty of community in Christ.
I want to remind you: you are the hands and feet of Christ here on earth. You bring light into the darkness. You were created for good works.
We carry Christ.
